I Caved

I did it, even though I swore I never, ever would.

I joined facebook.

I know, I know. I held out for so long, refusing to join MySpace, Friendster, or any of the other "online social communities." They're all so stupid I thought. They are for silly teenagers. Then I found out how many people I know who are members. THEN I found out that my mom and my boyfriend are "friends." Talk about worlds colliding!!! So I signed up. And I'll admit, it's actually kind of fun.

So like if you aren't part of facebook, you should like totally join and be my friend. Like.

A Day at the Beach

Since my last trip to Boston it's been raining pretty much non-stop. According to the Irish Herald, "last month's rainfall showed that Dublin Airport recorded the highest level of rainfall ever for the month of August since records began." Clearly I picked a great year to move here!!

I’ve been working a lot and sleeping a lot lately. Ireland has great sleeping weather. For my birthday, Oran got me a day at the spa and he took me to see Riverdance in Castlebar. It was awesome. I pretty much have the best boyfriend in the world. I have his birthday present already and I think he’s going to love it. I’m so excited to give it to him. I wish I could tell you what it is, but on the off chance that he reads this, it will ruin the surprise.
